A Parliament member from the group Our Ukraine – People Self-Defence, Gennadiy Moskal‘, proposes to the Parliament to make changes in the Law about religious organizations. The appropriate draft law is already registeres in the Parliament, the newspaper "Delo"informed. The document assumes a ban for foreigners to hold executive positions in new-cultic organizations.

In the newspaper’s opinion, thus one of the biggest organizations, „The Embassy of God“ can be deprived of a head (the leader is Sandey Adeladja) and a number of other organizations as well. Amongst them are — „The Church of Christ“ (the leader is Shon Wootten), „The Chruch of Moon“Unification“ (the leader is Chong Jheen Pal), „The Family“ (the leader is Nemien Berg).

Also the draft law contains other norms: ban for "healings", toughen the registration process, need for more thorough check up of new cults for security. By the instrumentality of the draft law Moskal‘ hopes „to distinguish religion from commerce“.

"Those have been already chewed and spitted out in Europe, now is gushing out here. It is necessary to make an end of that, as many people understand to be deceived in such churches", - he noted.

According to the Parliamentarian, the draft law regulates only activity of new formations, and its norms will not concern any traditional church.

By the newspaper’s notes, Moskal‘ hopes his colleagues in the Parliament to support the draft law, in spite of the hidden support of destructive organizations by some scientists in religious studies and state officers. "Although it is not possible to predict anything in our Parliament", — ist member added.
